About Kimberly

Life has not always smiled on Kimberly Lollis Parrish, but she has always smiled back. Born to a loving but imperfect family in South Carolina, Kimberly grew up to follow her passion for teaching, until her career was cut short after being fired for refusing to change grades. She shared her story on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” and then turned her talents to the business world.

After the tragic death of her younger brother, Griffen, Kimberly realized the only way to heal was to share his story, so she poured her love and grief into the book, “All the Way to Heaven and Back: Surviving the Loss of A Loved One,” and began speaking publicly about bullying and binge drinking. Her open style, gentle heart, and genuine belief that each of us is stronger than we know touches audiences in a way that helps them find their own path to healing from the pain in their own lives.

She loves kids, dogs, owls, and showing people the power of optimism and forgiveness. Kimberly is the owner and president of ArrowHawk Industries, Inc. in Laurens, SC, and is currently at work on several new books.
